Greg Gagne found his niche as a tag team player, paired with the outstanding Jim Brunzell. Here they were just starting to gel as a tag team, and they would work together, off and on, for a decade. Me, I was starting to get respect for my work ethic and was awarded with a feature slot in this tag team bout. My partner this evening was Larry Hennig, one of the AWA's first and greatest stars. Being a wrestler in the AWA was the equivalent of going to Harvard or Yale.
